Information for Job Seekers
SkillsPlus as part of the Australia wide Disability Employment Network assists job seekers with disabilities to gain and retain employment by providing them with ongoing employment assistance. SkillsPlus assists employers to understand the benefits of employing workers who have a disability.
Our Services for Job Seekers:
- Assistance in identifying employment options
- Assistance in identifying training needs
- Devlopment of an up-to-date resume
- Enhancement of interview skills
- Development of job search strategies
- Ongoing assistance to attain and retain employment
- Modifications of the workplace if needed
- Provision of on-the-job training
- Provision of on-going support

- Are you job ready?
- Are you of working age?
- Are you looking for employment?
- Do you want employment assistance?
- All applicants must be endorsed by Centrelink as having significant barriers to obtaining open employment and as such need ongoing support, even after securing a job.
