SkillsPlus through its Job Services Australia contract and in partnership with AMES assists job seekers to gain and retain employment by providing career advice, access to training, employment support and placement assistance.

 

Once registered with us, SkillsPlus will assist by:  

• Providing career advice
• Identifying employment options
• Identifying training needs
• Developing an up-to-date resume
• Enhancing interview skills
•  Developing job search strategies
• Connecting you to work experience opportunities
• Providing access to personal support
• Providing referrals to specialist support services
• Accessing employment opportunities
• Providing ongoing assistance to retain employment
• Providing further education, training and skill development opportunities
• Accessing traineeship opportunities

When you register at Centrelink and are offered employment services ask to be referred to SkillsPlus and we can start working with you straight away.
