SkillsPlus’s mission is to work with individuals and business to establish pathways to employment. We will provide educational and support services for all, focusing on young people and people who are disadvantaged in the labour market.
Our services are free to eligible jobseekers and include:
Job Services Australia (JSA)
SkillsPlus through its Job Services Australia contract and in partnership with AMES assists job seekers to gain and retain employment by providing career advice, access to training, employment support and placement assistance. Find out more
Community Work Coordinator (CWC)
CWC’s are contracted to develop Work for the Dole activities and manage the placement of eligible job seekers into provided activities. As a CWC, SkillsPlus can arrange for you to be placed on an activity that suits your needs.

Work for the Dole (WFD)
WFD is a Commonwealth Government funded programme which provides work experience opportunities and activities for eligible job seekers. Through Work for the Dole many unemployed people satisfy their mutual obligation while giving something back to the Australian community in return for their unemployment payments. Find out more
Disability Employment Services (DES)
SkillsPlus as part of the Australia wide Disability Employment Service assists job seekers with disabilities to gain and retain employment by providing them with ongoing employment assistance. Find out more
National Disability Coordination Officer Program (NDCO)
The NDCO Program Funded by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations, aims to improve the transition of students with a disability from compulsory education to post compulsory options including TAFE, University and employment. Find out more
Victoriaworks for graduates with a disability
Victoriaworks for graduates with a disability supports the transition of graduates with a disability into employment in the public and community sectors in Victoria. Find out more
